Spring Break Information

Over Spring Break please encourage your child to get on the computer to review and work on their reading and math.  The programs we suggest are also Duval County approved.  They are Destination Success and Reflex Math.  These sites will help your child with skills, comprehension, and fluency.  They will also place your child in activities we are working in class and skills they need to review.

Their username and password for both of these sites are glued to the front cover of your child's planner.
Destination Success uses your child's Duval County Username and Password.
Usernames always begins with an s followed by a 8 digit code.
Passwords begin with a the first letter of your child's name and is always capital.  Followed by your child's two-digit birthday and the first letter or your child's last name which is always a lower case letter and finally, a four-digit code.

Family Fitness Night

On March 19th from 6-8pm we will be holding our 3rd annual Family Fitness Night.  As part of Family Fitness Night, classes are being asked to prepare a themed basket.  The theme of our class basket is TRAVEL.  We will be collecting items for our basket through March 15th.  We would love 100% participation from our class.  If we have 100% participation we will have a popcorn  and movie party.  Also, for each child/family that donates an item for our class basket we will give them a no homework pass, good for one week of no homework!
All proceeds from Family Fitness Night will benefit the Tom Coughin Jay Fund Foundation, an organization that provides financial support for families with children diagnosed with cancer.

Reflex Math

Thank you for helping your child get on the Reflex Math website this weekend.
Please let them use this website a few nights a week to help them with their math fluency facts.  Knowing their math facts fluently will help them in all other areas of math as they progress through school.
Your child's password and instructions for logging on are glued to the front of his or her planner.
